Water & Sewer Rates

Water and Sewer bills are calculated as follows with appropriate sales tax added:


                $14.50 for the first 1000 gallons

                $14.50 for the next 1000 gallons

                $8.01 for the next 1000 gallons

                $7.96 per 1000 gallons 3,000 gallons to 25,000 gallons

            $5.63 per 1000 gallons over 25,000  


$12.44 per month customer service charge

$6.30 per month debt service charge

$4.37 per 1000 gallons meter flow charge

             If you live outside of the city limits, charges are multiplied by 1.5.


Meter < or = to 1" = $3.00 per year                    $0.25 pro-rated

Meter > 1" & < or = to 2" = $7.44 per year         $0.62 pro-rated

Meter > 3" & < or = to 4" = $41.16 per year       $3.43 pro-rated

Primacy Fee - The fee that the state of Missouri charges everyone for water testing.


Residential Meter     = $0.70 per year         $0.06 pro-rated

Business Meter < 1" = $3.00 per year         $0.25 pro-rated

Business Meter > 2" = $10.00 per year       $0.84 pro-rated

Your statement is mailed to you on or before the 15th day of every month and due upon receipt. This allows 20 days in which to receive a 5% discount from the total bill. Any bill paid after the 5th day of the following month will be assessed the total amount. If payment is not received in full by 5:00 p.m. on the 10th day of the month, your current service will be disconnected for non-pay. Allow 5 to 7 days for delivery and processing when sending payment by mail. If your service is disconnected for non-pay, an appointment may be made during regular business hours for reconnection of service, after the total amount due and a $50 service charge has been paid in full. A serviceman is unable to restore the water service without someone at the residence.
