CITY ADMINISTRATOR

 

     The City of Holden MO (2,510 pop.) is seeking a progressive, energetic city administrator to oversee the day-to-day administrative duties of municipal government.  Holden is a third class city approximately 30 miles east of Kansas City, MO.  The city administrator is appointed by the council and mayor and overseas staff and department heads, and other essential duties of the position.  The qualifications for this position include: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Public Administration or closely related field, two years experience in municipal administration, or any equivalent combination or education and experience.  Starting salary range is $40,000 to $45,000, with benefits.  Resume, cover letter and references may be submitted to the City Clerk, City of Holden, 101 W. 3rd Street, Holden, MO 64040.  The position will be open until filled and applicant review will begin on December 11, 2007.  The City of Holden is an equal employment opportunity provider.
